Miss Debbie’s 4/16/2021 Red Robin Preschool Newsletter
Dear Families,
Wow! It’s the middle of April all ready!!! We are hoping the weather will start to consistently cooperate for us to go outside and play. Rumor has it we have new sand toys to play with!!!
This week we learned all about the letter “Ww”. We used watercolors to paint worms for our classroom “”Ww”. The children painted paper plates brown and turned them into “Wally the Walrus”! He is quite cute. By now you must be asking…”What did you turn your hands into this week?” “Well we’ll tell you… “WATERMELONS!!!” They look good enough to eat but they have to go in our Alphabet Books. You are going to be quite amazed when you see these books! “Hands down, they are quite incredible!”
Next week we aren’t going to move on to “Xx”, we are going to focus on Spring and all the exciting things that are taking place in the world around us. We will continue to explore the grounds of Red Robin to look for all that is new and popping up as we take our nature walks.
We are also starting to sing some songs that pertain to spring such as; “If All the Raindrops”, “You Are My Sunshine”, “Five Little Ducks”, “Bringing Home a Baby Bumblebee” and “Five Little Speckled Frogs” to name a few.
Every time we look at the empty planters outside – we say we can’t wait for consistent warm weather so we can get into the dirt and plant flowers! Hopefully soon!
We want to wish everyone a wonderful weekend!
Warmly,
Miss Debbie and Miss Sam
