Miss Anne’s Homework Packet for 4/6-10/2020

Dear Red Robin Country Day School Families and Students,

First and foremost, I hope you are all healthy and safe.  Never in our wildest imaginations could we have believed we would be experiencing such an unspeakable set of circumstances.  I appreciate that many families have reached out and extend the best of everything to you all.  We miss you wholeheartedly and recognize how important it is for you to care for your families, your most pressing priority.

I have attached Miss Anne’s homework packet for this week, once again emphasizing that its contents are presented for her class.  We welcome Miss Lori’s and Miss Debbie’s students to complete it at their own developmental level, but ask you to feel no pressure whatsoever.  Feel free to extend the materials into next week if you are observing this week’s holidays.  Though a difficult phase, we hope the meaning of the holiday, if applicable to your family’s traditions, will not be overshadowed by the crisis.  Newsletters will follow later in the week.

The circle time sessions scheduled for this morning have been rescheduled with our apologies.  Miss Anne had explained that she is not feeling well.  We wish for her the speediest of recoveries.  Miss Lori had some technical challenges as the electric company was working on her neighborhood grid and Miss Debbie is planning for a mid-week session.  With that said, please watch for your child’s teacher’s invitation to join the circle time “meeting” on Wednesday.  If the Zoom session presents too much of a challenge or conflicts with your home schedule, please do not feel compelled to participate.  You may reply with a quick thank you anyway so that your child’s teacher knows not to expect your child.  We are trying to maintain as much consistency as possible, as well as the important connection with our students.

If Miss Anne is still recovering on Wednesday, Miss Sheryl will lead the circle time, which will be reflected in the invitation.  Wishing you all good health.  Please tell your children we send huge hellos.  We hope that we get to see their adorable faces soon!!!!!

Warmly,

Mr. Michael

CHOOSE RED ROBIN WITH CONFIDENCE

Of course, parents should trust their own experience and instincts when choosing a school or camp. However, the critical decision about with whom to entrust your child should also be based on the program’s license, accreditations, and commitment to safety. Red Robin holds many such distinctions. They are a source of pride for us and can be a source of confidence for you.

Red Robin elects to maintain its accreditation with the American Camp Association (ACA).  This commitment requires Red Robin to adhere to many stringent standards and inspections, which help parents select camps that meet industry-accepted and government-recognized regulations.

In addition, our school is licensed by New York State.

We are also chartered by the New York State Education Department-Board of Regents.

We are permitted to operate by the Nassau County Health Department.

Red Robin is a peanut and tree nut free facility, one of many safeguards implemented to protect our students and campers.
